The ladder

Every finished match on an official ProAim server is recorded. This is who is best at the thing the game measures.

Nobody is ranked here yet

Five finished matches on this mode puts a player on the board. Play on an official server and you are on it.

02How it is counted

What the rating means

Rating
The mean skill rating of your last 50 finished matches on that mode. Skill rating is what the game computes for every match you finish - kills are part of it, and so are opening duels, trades, clutches, utility and how often you survive the round.
Ranked at
Five finished matches. Below that you play normally and simply do not appear on the board.
Inactivity
After 30 days without a match the rating bleeds 5 points a day. One match played restores it - the decay is applied when the board is drawn, never written into your record.
Left early
A match you disconnected from does not count for anyone in it. Repeatedly abandoning is a ban.
Two ladders
Competitive and casual are separate boards and never mix.
Bots
Never on the board. A ranked player is only ever compared against other people.
Official servers only
Only the servers listed at /servers.txt write to this store. A LAN or self-hosted server is unranked by design, and the game says so on its scoreboard.
